We are a small but mighty team, made up of 5 women, who are all dedicated to the welfare of all animals, big and small.
Though our efforts are primarily focused on cats and kittens, we still share a deep passion for the wellbeing of all animals.

Our organization was formed in 2021 by our founder, Sidnee, after she fostered a litter of puppies through another rescue that didn’t to provide the quality of care they very much needed.
Sidnee ended up adopting 2 of the 3 puppies she was fostering, putting thousands of dollars of her own money and countless sleepless nights into rehabilitating them, curing their kennel cough that turned into pneumonia, cooking home-made meals and handfeeding them to stimulate their appetites, and having heart surgery performed on one of the puppies who would have otherwise passed away at the very young age of 4-months old due to a congenital defect.

After this whole experience and being met with combativeness by the rescue she was fostering through, Sidnee knew something had to be done to further help animals, especially those that were subject to “rescuers” just looking to turn a quick buck…. from here, our group of 5 women joined together, and The Boring Safe Haven was formed.
